MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MECHANICAL
Glass company – Province Utrecht
Salary: approx. €4.300 gross per month
Long term contract
Location: about 60 km from Amsterdam and about 50 km from Rotterdam
What will you do:
- You ensure that our glass production machines keep running smoothly. No day is the same, but you can expect the following:
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve an optimal production process.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the production line.
- Carrying out inspections, overhauling components, and modifying machines.
- Identifying and solving malfunctions and potential failures.
- Clearly reporting technical findings.
- Playing a crucial role in the production process, directly contributing to the quality and sustainability of our glass packaging.
Requirements:
- Background in mechanical maintenance (not mechatronics).
- Completed technical vocational education / technical diploma
- Hands-on mentality; no bachelor-level candidates.
- Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine overhauls is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Warehouse Company - Province North Brabant
Salary: approx. €3.700 gross per month (negotiable, excluding allowances)
Long term contract
Location: about 65 km from Rotterdam
In this role, you will ensure that our modern warehouse facilities run smoothly by carrying out both proactive and reactive maintenance. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding operational continuity and the safety of our installations, grounds, and buildings.
What will you do:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installations according to a maintenance schedule.
- Independently resolve malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Manage and order spare parts in line with established procedures.
- Take responsibility for the fire alarm system, oxygen reduction system, and water treatment of cooling towers.
- Act as the first point of contact for malfunctions in the Yard system.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and other departments to align work and ensure efficiency.
- Identify and report unsafe situations and (near) incidents in accordance with safety regulations.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following all applicable safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
We are looking for a proactive and independent maintenance technician with strong analytical skills and a passion for technology.
- MBO level of education, preferably in a technical field.
- Knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, and control technology.
- Experience with PLC and PC-controlled fully automated logistics systems (preferred).
- BHV certification and knowledge of fire alarm systems.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to work in shifts and on-call duty.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed and follow additional training.
- Ability to work at heights (up to 37 meters).
- Ability to work in low temperatures (-18 to -20 degrees).
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a production environment.
